The software is really good, It works well. Been using it for over a year now. Support is fantastic and really helpful. Only reason not to get a five star review is bug fixes/changes are very slow to happen. They seem to go into a black hole. We have one very simple issue about not being able to copy and paste part numbers thats been outstanding for months and months. It’s really annoying

AutoInTouch and AIT Online are both in use by many multiple site garages businesses! We have a variety of ways of allowing your branches to connect to each other remotely, providing head office oversite of satellite operations around the country, including combined reporting for a breakdown of sites, or a full company overview.

You can even operate the same system from different sites, simply enquire with our hardware specialists for recommendations on how best to achieve your desired outcome and we will find a tailored solution that works for you.

The choice is yours!

AIT Online is a Web Based system, this means you will always require an internet connection, however you can access it on the go on any device, and retain full functionality when connected. AutoInTouch is a desktop software, therefore although you will need an internet connection for some services, in the event of a network blackout, you will still be able to access the software and produce invoices.

What happens if something happens to my AutoInTouch/AIT Online computer!

for AutoInTouch, we always recommend a strict backup policy to every new customer and are happy to offer advice on how to do this in a simple and inexpensive way. On top of that we also provide a free 12 month subscription to our Online Backup Service for new customers, this uploadeds a copy of your data to our secure cloud server each day. Providing a backup to your backup policy.

With AIT Online, all your files are saved and backed up online, so they will always be secure and available online.

Pros and Cons?

Although everyone these days seems to think that internet based softwares are the best option, that is not always the case. In the independent garage business model most commonly you will have everyone working from one location, in a scenario such as this cloud software can not only be a bit redundant. However if you regularly work from home or on the road, a cloud option may be the most suited. No, our customers use a variety of financial softwares. We currently support exporting transactions to Sage, Xero and QuickBooks along with our own ALLinONE Accounts software.
Whats more, we have a history of developing export functionality to other sofwares when required on a case by case basis. So should you have to work to a strict framework of a parent company we can look to help facilitate your requirements.

AIT Online has fully automated reminders for MOT and servicing. Just add your preferred method (SMS or email) to your customer accounts and once you’ve invoiced, your reminder will be saved in the database and will let your customer know when they are due in next!
We have an integrated reminders system within AutoInTouch that is capable of sending SMS, E-mail and printed letter MOT & Service reminders!
The intuitive reminder interface is incredibly easy to used and allows you to target diffrent due dates, customer types and MOT / Service types all in a matter of seconds. You can also set up your own custom reminder types, should you wish to contact someone a set time after fitting a certain part to their vehicle, the software can acomodate this, so whenever you sell that part the software logs the date it was fitted and can issue a reminder when the time comes for a replacement!

Although AutoInTouch has an excellent Product Catalog system, many users choose not to utilise the full functionality, opting to simply track consumables such as Oils & Screen Wash and using the Non-Stock option for general parts invoicing. Even with this approach it is still possible to log the part numbers for future reference, track your costs as well as produce stock valuation  and profit reports!

Change is always a challenge, and we understand that. It is why when you purchase our software we give you full access to the support desk for the first 12 months, so when questions come up you have answers immediately. If you have staff that learn better face to face, we offer on site training options as well as remote.

So whether it is getting everyone up to scratch with your new system, or onboarding a new staff member, we are on hand to help. This is something we have been doing for nearly 30 years, and we have developed a bit of a knack for it!
