Meet our Team

Working for MTT since January 2015, Ben's background is in technology, the past ten of which have been automotive industry specific. Graduating from Plymouth University in 2001 with a Degree in Computer Science, he has over sixteen years’ experience in IT, working on scalable and resilient computer systems. His web services experience includes .NET, PostgreSQL and project management. In his spare time, Ben enjoys surfing, windsurfing, travelling and spending time with his young family.

Richard comes from a development background of over fifteen years and is responsible for managing the development team and their projects. Richard has a strong background within Agile development and acts as the Scrum Master or Product Owner depending on the project. His experience, team leading qualities and attention to detail have made a big difference to the speed of delivery and quality of the products we've been producing since he joined the team. In his spare time, Richard enjoys walks along the beach and spending time with his family.

After studying Business and Admin at College, Abigail began working at MTT in 2002. She began working in reception and progressed to running the accounts for the Group. She says “Starting on reception helped her get to know customers and build a good rapport with them”. Her main role today is the everyday running of the financial side of the business; managing both the sales and purchase ledger as well as some of the administration within the company. She has extensive knowledge of accountancy software and is our go to person on anything financially related. In her spare time she enjoys live music, travel, cooking, keeping fit and spending time with her family, friends and dog Toby.

Ross arrived at MTT in November of 2016 bringing with him extensive experience in Business and People Management, Customer Care and Coaching. Until 2020, he was primarily responsible for ensuring our Customers, old and new, experience a smooth transition to our latest software versions, including setup, on-site training and efficiency coaching. Ross was promoted to Deputy Support Manager in 2019 assisting Craig with the day to day running of the Support Desk to ensure a high level of customer service is provided. In 2020, Ross began managing our Marketing Department and Web Development services and in 2021 has taken responsibility for overseeing all Marketing activity. Ross has a dog named Coco and outside of the workplace coaches a local Ladie's Football Team, plays Pool, DJ's and listens to Music.

Working for MTT since September 2014, Craig has over twenty years experience in IT, ten of them in the automotive industry. Craig works on the project management of our larger software product upgrades and installations, he has a strong background in networking and communications and was promoted to Software Support Manager in 2019 ensuring we provide the best possible customer service. Craig enjoys spending time with his family and has a keen interest in aviation.

Derran has worked for MTT for over twenty-five years, starting with the company as a field engineer visiting customers who required on-site support/repairs. He has since worked his way up to up to the role of IT Manager. His main duties now involve updating AutoInTouch Classic in Visual Basic, building and specifying new computers systems for customers, as well as maintaining and developing our own equipment and infrastructure. He worked previously for an electrical company building industrial combination units and BS4343 power connectors. Derran has always enjoyed working with computers, building and repairing them in his spare time. He's seen a lot of changes within the company and the industry over the years and is one of the few original employees of the business.
